Main research focus: The Cognition and Usability lab investigates a number of different issues, ranging from basic visual and spatial cognition (e.g., how we remember images and locations) to many applied issues like graphical passwords, automotive interface technologies, gestures, surface transportation, process control interfaces, situation awareness, auditory interfaces for blind populations, and mental workload.
